We should REALLY have a "sand" sticky

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Usually even if a chain doesn't have a particular sand at a store, but they carry it at some stores in the chain, they can order it for you. Have you guys tried calling them and asking if you can order it? It might take a week or so but they will usually get it... I did that with an ACE hardware store here, the chain carried it but none of the stores locally had it... they just ordered it from their warehouse and had it later that week for me to pick up, no extra charge.

got some play sand from Lowes it was in a clear bag,
I am not liking it at all. Took forever to rinse, still not 100% done and I have it sitting in a bucket takes FOREVER for the sand to settle and it only has a couple inches of water in the bucket so I'm not gonna use it. for $4 for a 50 pound bag I won't complain. I want the quickrete fine white sand but I can't find it anywhere!

Thanks aclockworkorange, I mean i just went to the HD right by my house yesterday and only found Sakrete play sand, does anyone know about this stuff?

just setup my tank today ,,i used the playsand from homedepot,,it looks good so far............

yea it came in a clear 50lb bag , the exact name on the bag is quickrete premium play sand. and mines came out not dark at all but then thats just me, and at night when i turn my tank lights on, it looks pretty bright,,im satisfied with it,,
