Weird Fish Habits?

My Leucostictas take food meant for my Royal Pleco, usually carrots, algae wafers, and zucchini, and try to eat them. It goes right through their gills, then they try again.

Right through the gills, and they try again.
and so on.

Sorry guys, your gill rakers are meant for bloodworms...
 
It's not weird for loaches, but i have one big piece of driftwood that all my loaches live in. they have their own holes, kind of like one big loach apartment building.

the new emperor loach, hasn't found a spot to rent yet :D
