I don't know if it would be considered a pet but a friend used to freeze bees, and when they could barely move he tied a string around it and let it unfreeze, and walked it around as if it had a leash on it. They died pretty fast...

BTW, not really a friend more like a person i knew.

Leopard tortoises, sugar gliders in a time where no one even knew their diet, veiled chameleons, asexual scorpions, blind cave tetras, and then there's the cat who thinks and acts like a dog, down to tail wagging and fetching...

hmm my best friend used to catch dragonflies for me and put them in a jar. they only lasted for a day or two cos i'd never let them out - too scared to! but they were cool looking though :D

Dragonfly killer! :) I did this too lighting bugs. I figured oxygen is everywhere, so they could of course live in there for days on end. lol

They're much more fun as babies, idk, just something about a bug that catches and eats fish!

I'm not an insect fan either, I wouldn't keep them, or birds. Maybe arachnids though.

ive kept dragonfly and damselfly larvae before.
used to keep them with tadpoles and frogs,a lot of times i would find disemboweled tadpoles.
