Weirdest pet you've ever had?

What happened to this menagerie? Backyard safari?

Ah as the years went on, some we let go back into the bush, the monkeys were sent to private owners that cold properly care for then when they became a handful near adulthood, the goat died giving birth one year, hedgehogs-released, owl flew away oneday, springhares got eaten by a caracal. Impala and warthog went to some game farm or resort or something like that.

Not really weird but the best and coolest pet I ever had was a female mallard I hatched and raised from an egg. She thought I was the greatest thing since sliced bread. I use to take her to parties and stuff where she'd follow me around everywhere.

I caught and housed a mole for a few days. It was tearing up the yard but I thought it was really neat when I caught it. He was an incredible eater too. He stayed in a garbage can with 5 inches of loose dirt in it. I would drop an assortment of insects in and he would find them while plowing under the dirt. All you would see in the beetle or grasshopper disappear and then hear a crunching sound.
