hey people my name dont matter and i own venomous snakes
now your probly wondering whats this all about well ill tell you.
i just had a rino viper die this morning......
this snake was brought to me by a young man who liked to own but dont know squat about it. these snakes get sick quickly if you dont know what your doing
and you cant fix what you own then dont own it.
the vet will not help you with your snake he will tell you to get out then phone the police on you. venomous snakes die from various things including...........
internal and x-ternal parasites , mouth rot and lung infections.
the reason this happens is because of dumb ignorant people that are nothing in life untill they own a venomous snake and now your a hero.........
but in reality your not cool your still a fool ,cause the only time you will be cool is when you learn how to fix what you own........
i fix lung infections and mouth rot................
but i cant fix it if you let it go for a month.........
the pictures in front of you is the snake half dead when it came in
and dead in a bag on the way out
R I P,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,it breaks my heart..................

Good little read. I pretty much agree with everything he said. I personally don't think there is a problem with keeping venomous animals if you know what to do with them (As he does)

Uh...what is the point of him posting this? It's like "Look at my illegal, extremely venomous snake!" Stuff like starts panic and over-regulation...

The first rule of Venomous Snake Club is.... you guessed it; Don't talk about Venomous Snake Club.

Oh...and now the post is gone...

Venemous snakes arent ilegal. Ive seen plenty of people keep extreamly venomous snakes such as black mombas rattle snakes cobras on a previous forum when i was into chameleons repticzone.com i belive it was. Just got to be careful i dont care if it was a snake but poor snake didnt deserve a death liek that.

They are illegal in a lot of municipalities in Ontario, B.C. and Quebec. You can't keep venomous in the city limit of Toronto, or some of the surrounding cities.

Just because someone keep them, it doesn't means they are legal. Technically, I am not suppose to own a centipede or scorpion in Edmonton... since all "poisonous" animals are banned. However they are unregulated at shows and expos here.

However if push come to shove, I will prove they are not "poisonous" (secreting) but rather "venomous" (injecting) anthropoids and that they are not "insects" as outlined in the law.

don't care how near dead it is, you still wouldn't get me picking it up like that. It's a real shame though, they are a really beautiful animal.

I agree and can't stress enough when ever I get a chance to run in to people wanting to get a reptile of any form .You need to know how to sucessfully keep your scaley friend sucessfully b4 getting one I usually send them home with a book or some sort of information .They always come back with a better understanding on how to care for it .Then they get the proper set up .And after the set up is set up they come back for the reptile. Of course their will always be the odd idot that thinks they are god's gift to the reptile hobby that knows it all . They are usualy the ones always comming back for another reptile instead of comming back with stories of the sucess.
