i agree the apeal for me is no way the venom its the awsome body and head shapes,the scales,and the awsome earthtones along with the bright colored guys.Whats not to like if you know what your doing.gdangit a spider just whent up my dang leg while typing this and yeah i had to smash it.I love spiders but not in my pants headed up,lol

Well, honestly being venemous is still a turn on. Just not the ONLY reason to own one, but it does make it a little more interesting.

My dad has a story along those lines too, Rakie.

His friend used to work for a funeral home, and he'd go pick up the bodies from the morgue to prepare them for burial.

Well, one day, he was picking up a corpse, and it was in the back of the vehicle, and it sat up, belched loudly, and flopped back over!! That guy was OUT OF THERE!! lol

I agree that no matter how close to death's doorstep that beautiful creature was, holding was not the best idea, nor was how he went about trying to get his point across.

At least his heart was in the right place though.

Yeah, I don't think he was showing off, I think he just had a good intention end up a bad idea, lol.

Yeah... If that happened to me (Funeral home dealy) id be gone, and quit like that. LOL.

you know ive read all that was said about my last post yes it is me the good dr and snake owner .....and it seams that some of you are quite serious *******s like the fish guy slow down dude .
now what i was saying about what happened is that whatever you get weather it be fish or reptiles or snakes you must first make sure that you have read up on the thing you want to own for the rest of its life don't be stupid and let your need for greed get in your way and know what your doing before you do it thats all . second off make sure you know the environment that these things need like mabey 80% percipacation or 10 percent or maby its a desert dweller you have to make sure that whatever you get you match it's home to make it comfortable where it is.
so dont put a tree dweller on the hot sand and expect it to survive.
you the owner must ALWAYS BE PREPARED for bad things to happen and for you the owner to find a place for to fix them before you buy that pet.
and weather it happens to be venomous snakes or not and hey fish guy where i live in canada there is no laws on owning venomous snakes and i don't sell to the public so im legal in my era... people own the venomous snakes for two reasons good reasons and bad reasons i own venomous snakes because i am studying to become a herpetologist and i do have my license to own so when i put my words down on paper then i acually dont care about the law and they know what i own and have been here many times with their kids to get pictures for their school project.
so when you dont know what your talking about please dont talk you look foolish.
i hate guys that have something to prove its just wrong
but i wpuld like to thank all of you who do agree with me on this subject
and remember a good owner always has a happy pet.

Uh...what is the point of him posting this? It's like "Look at my illegal, extremely venomous snake!" Stuff like starts panic and over-regulation...

The first rule of Venomous Snake Club is.... you guessed it; Don't talk about Venomous Snake Club.

and i feel really bad for this snake, IMO you should need a license of some sort to own one of these because they are illegal, and stated by the original guy, they are hard to care for and can easily die... the last pics are really sad
