All i can say is PLEASE stay away from an MBU puffer, they require extremely large setups and a 180G is definitely too small for one to live out its life...

I would however definitely agree that a Fahaka would make a great addition to the tank... i know of all the puffers i've personally owned, the Fahaka is definitely the best...

I had thought about the Fahaka for a while. I had a small f8 puffer. I just dont want to deal with the salt, but puffers are amazing fish and I would like to have a big one eventually.

huh? fahaka is pure freshwater. no need for salt.

Yes, Fahaka's are amazing fish, very personable, and tons of personality...

Agreed, they are unbelievable fish, but also require un-usually large tanks... imo at least 800G+ due to the amount of waste they produce, and their size...
