I would go with something different and if you get the 75 gallon a P. Polleni small spot (Madegascar) would be an awesome wet pet. But if you're looking to go with Cental/South American I would pick a female festae
I leaning more toward Red Devil/Midas, probably Red Devil. I don't really feel like ordering online and no local stores carries them so my options are Petsmart or Petsmart. They sell Red Devils from 2-6" and Midas maybe 2-4". I would like a male so are there any ways to better ensure I got one? Also the Midas they have are grey and barred, these are juvie colors right?
Also what is the black you see in some red devils the result of because I would like to avoid it if possible.
barred is a color variant, they will be like that for their whole life
