Wetspot trimac or Flowerhorn? needs your guys help

I would still grow it out, they look nice. However, their email wasn't very convincing. Even though you didn't ask where they came from the fact they think/beleive they are true Trimacs isen't solid evidence. If I am selling something and labeling it as such, I better be 100% sure. Too bad, still a beautiful fish.

ya thats the same vibe i got from the email. Well its already gone, it wasn't mine but my girlfriends. She said she doesn't want anything that is questionably not a trimac. So she decided on a chancho, if we can't find one then we will go back to a true trimac. we gave the FH away.
 
Well I guess I will have to grow mine out to see what it will look like.

The funny thing was is I went into Wetspot looking for a flowerhorn but the ones they had looked like crap and cost $17 for the same size. So I remembered seeing they had trimac listed on the website so I went looking around the tanks till I found them. All in all I ended up going into the store wanting a flowerhorn and came out with a flowerhorn. So I got what I wanted for $10.

Another funny thing is a month back I started a thread asking if there are green flowerhorn. So I doubleliness got what I want, I hope it stays green though.

he was pretty close to 4" i would guess.
 
well i got a response. Not exactly what i was looking for, they kinda sound like they are just going to blow it off. I even linked this thread.
"Hi Nick. So sorry to hear those may be a hybrid. Steve is in Malawi and I don’t have access to the source that we got those fish from to confirm the parents at the moment. I will bring the matter to his attention when he gets back mid September. We would not sell those fish to you if we had reason to believe they were a hybrid, as we value having a good reputation. Yeah, I know. Thats good to here though because I wanted a green fish :)
 
Yeah man that's a 100% Flowerhorn, I recently acquired some Trimacs from Jeff Rapps and he had the green race of trimacs and the have no pearl in them at all. I seen some gold race Trimacs also and the are the same no pearl in them at all so that is definitely a Flowerhorn!!!
