Looks like the Sea Shepherd crew is back for another season of eco terrorism.

Eco terrorism is right. I don't understand how these guys legally get away with this. I don't agree with whale fishing, but seriously do you think that these people working for their livelihood will just sit around and let them ruin their catches and trips? Sell those ships and choppers and spend the money on political and public agenda instead of water guns.

I saw the south park on whale wars and it was one of the funniest episodes I've seen.

Yep and the ones that do exist seem to be blatantly disregarded..Just ask the Japanese whalers.

these guys are playing with serious fire... as i understand it, they are sailing as "stateless" vessels, meaning basically they would fall under the laws of any country that boards them and decides to enforce law. They're begging to get tossed into a blackhole and forgotten about...

I do not agree with whaling, but the Japanese have shown a lot of restraint on the Sea Shepard and her crew. A few seasons ago when the Sea Shepard's crew "boarded" one of the whaling ships, the Japanese whaling ship could have shot the crew of the Sea Shepard on the spot for piracy. I am surprised no one from either crew have been killed yet.

Maybe cuz they have a tv crew following their
every move??

It is interesting how they manage to not be blown to bits, imagine if they got unlucky near the coast of Russia??!

But atleast they are representing a good cause even though the money they use could go towards other investments/laws for these "Fishermen" to adhere too!
