I kind of lean toward C. cornuta but that's just based on seeing pics and vids of specimens. Rhinos seem to be a bit more heavily built.

Where to next? Largest agamid? Teiid?

I can't think of anything else at the momment... so yeah go a head and do the Teiid. :D

Probably the Argentine B/W tegu, wouldn't it?

As for agamids, not sure which is the largest, but some possible contenders are the Coastal bearded dragon (yep, that is an agamid, folks), or Australian water dragon. Trying to rack my brain for large agamids...the Chinese WD might get longer, but not as robust as those first two.

I think the largest member of the agamids is the Hydrosaurus.

Correct Seth, and the argentine red gets larger than the black and white.

Sorry for the double post, but backl the train up! The amazon river turle is not the largest. The leather back turtle is.

the uromastyx aegyptius is the largest.

Its okay dude, and thanks for replying. But if you read the post it was actully the largest Semi-aquatic turtle. Not fully aquatic turtles. And if I may, its only species that are avalible to the pet trade. ;)

Yep, Egyptian uro.

Do caiman lizards get bigger than the big tegus? I know they get bigger than the Colombians (T. teguixin) but not sure about the others...and red tegus get pretty thick so maybe not.

Throw frillies into the agamid discussion but I stil think the sailfin dragons get bigger.
