What are you feeding your fish?

Most definitely... You would just need an overflow box, plumbing and a return pump to get it between the 2 tanks

it's either that or drill the tank. However if it's already setup I doubt you wanna mess with that

Yeah lol don't wanna drill my tank. I'm probably gonna purchase the PF Nano Overflow Box from Eshopps which is rated at 200 gph. Then I'll purchase the eighter the maxi jet 400 model rated at 106 gph or the 900 model rated at 247 gph. I forgot do you need more water to go into the fuge or more water to go back in the tank...

If you are using an overflow box I believe it's gravity fed (never used one) and then just a pump with enough "head" to push the water back into the main tank

This is for your 72 gallon still, correct? If so, then that overflow box will be useless. I would get one at minimum rated for 600 gph, with 800 or 1000 gph being better. You will then need a return pump suited for that gph at the head height it is at(most likely somewhere are 5 feet).

Even if you were to use the 200 gph overflow(again not recommended), you would need something significantly bigger than a maxijet. Those ratings for the maxijets are at 0 head height. They would not even pump any amount of water 5 feet up to the tank.

Also, I would go with a CPR overflow with aqua lifter pump instead of the Eshopps. Much easier to restart the siphon and will restart itself if the power ever goes out.

I thought I could go smaller since it's going down to a 10 gallon fuge...

Are you only doing a fuge? or are you going to have a skimmer down there too?

If just a fuge you would do a 200, I would still recommend more than that, but not more than 600 with only a fuge.

Either way you will need a bigger pump than a maxijet. Not sure how big off the top of my head, but proly somewhere in the mag 5 range(double check that).

Ok then thank's hoops, I would like to throw a remora skimmer to hang on the side of the fuge...I have actually posted that in the diy section to see if I get more responses. Also how would I add cyclops to the refugium? Probably best to purchase the phyto feast and trigger-pods from reef nutrition and then feed the pods in the fuge...hope in time they will thrive/breed. Also would artic pods multiply in a fuge setting? They look much bigger/appetizing to my fish.

Tigger pods in my opinion arent a very good species to put in a typical setup. When kept at warmer temperatures the females produce more males than females and eventually the population will die off after a few generations. A better option is to get the species tisbe they can handle the warmer temps and they reproduce rapidly. They are sold as reefpods by algagen http://www.saltwaterfish.com/AlgaGen-Copepods--ReefPods_p_1577.html
Also arctic pods are not sold live by reef nutrition so they aren't really an option to culture.
