What Cichlids can go into a 65 Gallon?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
theres a lot of possibilites. i agree with liz, see what you like and then ask if it would work

i would go with a smaller cichlid to start out...i agree that any dwarf cichlids would be awesome

Well it is 122 cm or 48 inch by 40 cm so 15inch by 50 cm high i was thinking green texas or green terror i like all central or south americans

Here is a list of some of the cichlids i like
Red Devil
Green Terror
Green Texas
Oscar
Buttikofri(i know it is not american)
and Flower horn
they are not in any particular order
i was thinking maybe get a juvinille Oscar, Butti, and maybe a green texas and let them use the 65 as a grow out untill i move them to a larger tank maybe a 125 or 150

Well ive been doing some research and i was thinking about either a Red Devil or a Green Terror or a Oscar i know that probably unless i bought them as juvi's and i got the softest red devil in all of history it wouldnt work unless it was a 300 tank so maybe two of those three?
any suggestions?

Thats gonna be an aggressive tank! I would recommend that the red devil and the butterkoff goes in last and a lil smaller. I know a lot of ppl love to feed them feeders but stick to dry food. Feeders make the water polluted, cause parasites and it makes the fish more aggressive. Thats my sugg. GL

I would go with a green terror and the tilapa / oscar.
