What Cichlids can go into a 65 Gallon?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
don't worry, the sev will be fine, they have been known to keep other cichlids out of eachothers fins

thats good he is a really nice green one and another quick question what are the growth rates of firemouths and green terrors?

does any one have any other ideas about what cichlids american cichlids only could go into the 65 gallon i think that a few firemouths a green terror will probably be the only cichlids in the 65 gallon along with a few dithers any suggestions or advice

You could have a pair of anything 8" of so (GTs)
Or a bunch of different ones

in either scenario, 6 giant danios would make good dithers.

I agree with Thedaniokeeper. I have a 75 with a 8" male gt,3 filament barbs,3 tiger barbs, and an 11" L-114. Although with GT's I would do a pair or just a male with dithers. I think it might be a touch overstocked to have the pair and half a dozen dithers(in the long term).
