I was just wondering what countries have the loosest fosh laws.. im thinking of leaving the US and i was wondering if there is somewhere i can keep asian aro, channa, freshwater stingray, etc.. does anyone know what countries let you keep almost all fish?

I'm not sure exactly which one would be best, but the countries in southeast Asia seem to have all of the coolest stuff that we just can't get here.

In the uk I don’t think there are any restrictions on what we can keep, we’re allowed Asian aros, snakeheads etc
Absolutely. Most of Europe is pretty open in terms of fish, we have a few members with all sorts :D

Ummm in Mexico you can have pretty much anything, at the Morelos market you can get asian arowana and various species of snakehead there is one guy selling goonch currently. Also if you like exotic animals you can get your hands on a lot of different animals (big cats, snakes, etc)

Hah, from what I can tell, The US.
Yep, apart from asian aro and rays in certain states, maybe some snakeheads? Certainly a lot more available than here in NZ. I'd suspect certain parts of Asia would be the "best" in terms of availability and lack of restrictions, and you'd have the added bonus of not needing much/any heating for the tanks. UK also seems good but probably much more expensive, plus smaller houses (in big cities), more expensive, cold etc.
