Sorry Liz but.....That's kind of hot...lol I don't get much time to go to the gym anymore, so I make it a point to eat healthy. No fast food, and if we do have fast food, like say kfc for instance. I get 2 biscuits and corn on the cobb. That fills me up and it is WAY lower in fat than a half a bucket of fried chicken.lol I am a chef by trade so homemade is better than restaurants in my house....It may sound funny but I do a lot of water changes with a three gallon bucket and take the bucket to different places. Like out front...splash....kitchen sink....splash......back yard....splash.......bathtub....splash......And this truly is enough to keep me nice and tight and I stay at my target weight at all times...Good thread!

Oh my a chef..awesome ... i would love a few healthy recipes from you!!! That is excellent that you do extra physical work like that on purpose..my hubby does the same.. he does six horse stalls every day.. not one of my horses has ever had to sleep a night in muck..but he refuses to use the tractor ..instead he wheel barrows it out.. he is lean and mean..haha keep up the good work...and that great will power.. skipping the fried chicken..your awesome... and send a recipe ..it does not have to be in any exact measurements ..i am a pretty good cook and can judge amounts..but i love ideas.....

Well I stay in tip top shape from being on the football team at my high school. I am a Half back and a Line backer lol. Tell me how that works out :screwy:. I am fast yet really tall and pretty damn strong. Lift weights. Usually bench and do squats as well as lots of cardio running and resistance running ( Tie bungy cords to your ankles and try to run. You'll know what I am talking about lol) I actually got pretty good at it but it BURNS my thighs. When I am not practicing in football I am doing my favorite pastime besides water changes lol ( I am old school with that bucket routine, did used to use pumps and hookup RV hose to sinks but it just made to much of a mess water spraying everywhere and plus it's a good work out) which is mountain biking on my property as well as taking pics of my woods. I also go out to see whats in my woods animals and stuff like that as well as go swimming in my river with the trout and turtles lol. Trout are gone as of now lol as it is very cold right now. Climb trees and make giant tree forts with broken trees. I am also a roofer in which is a very physically demanding job especially during summer days when it gets to be around 140 degrees on the roof and your covered with shingle dust, wood shingle dust and stuff you can't even describe lol. So I pretty much stay active constantly and multi task all the time with different activities. If you count playing guitar for hours straight as well for excercise because your making your hands very strong and plus you can break a sweat lol. There is some of the stuff i do to keep busy and fit.

diets are for suckers

they will make you fat in the long run and it will be an endless battle with your body that you can never win.

when you starve yourselve of calories by cutting them and eating less your putting your body into survival mode, so anything you eat gets stored as fat.

too many people confuse losing fat from losing weight. muscle is key and you gotta build muscle to burn fat, but at the same time you gotta take in enough calories, fat and protein to maintain that muscle, and who doesnt love eating? :D

i use to weight 190 and it was mostly muscle, but then i got a girlfriend, lost 20 and turned into a stick  now after i dumped her ass i gained 10 back, working my way back by eating more and hiting the weights hard. i dont go as often as i use to because of school :(
You are absolutely right about not starving yourself.. and your body will go into a mode of storing fat.. i do not cut calories as much as i concentrate on what is good to eat..you know your stuff..
