thats one reason i don't have my 14" pacu anymore...some are fine, but most are nippy...haven't had a jag, but alot of people say jds are a-holes and all of mine have been wusses...
How did you get rid of yours? I'm currently trying to get rid of mine b/c it bit almost an entire pelvic fin off my aro a couple days ago. I'm hoping the Newport Aquarium will take it, but I'm not feeling too optimistic about it.

i gave it to a lfs in a deal with my oscars, pacu, jd and green severum...i got no credit for the oscars or pacu, but they weren't causing problems in the tak anymore...

I like I like.

Stingray, discuss, arowana, and maybe a polka dot synodontis?

your discus could kill your ray...i have had that happen with cichilds and rays...they don't play well together...all synos i have had liked to eat slim coat...bad for discus and rays...

ray and aro OR aro and discus...if you want to risk it aro, rays, and discus...

well, don't say that in the gar forum where you'll get many others that agree with what I sad

i have and i have had many that agree and many that disagree...it depends on the fish itself...pbass and gar aren't supost to work, but they do for me and a few others aswell...when i posted about a good size to mix them(pbass and gars) just about everyone said they can't work together...mine have been together for over a month or 2 with no issuses

examples of aro/gar setups i have had...

i don't have a working vid camera to get a vid of the current setup witch include alot of my original list and soon to have 2 more silver aros and a black...the list is ever growing

I have seen some beautiful red oscars out there. There are not many colorful schooling fish. I am surprised to hear that discuss do well with arowana. But I am going to try them and buy the arowana extra small. Do you think its worth it going for the black or silver arowana?
