2) Studies have proven that this isn't true, expecially at higher speeds.
3) Never had one break, or known anyone who has
4) What if you live in an area with a lot or pollution or it's extremely windy and dusty?
5) Doesn't bother my truck one bit
 
I really hate car alarms.

I had a rental car once. I went to open the door with the key itself like a normal person and apparently you can't do that, I guess your suppose to push the unlock button. Anyway it was in a parking lot. I get in the car and the alarm starts going off and I had no idea how to shut it off. So here I am sitting in the car while people are staring at me thinking I'm trying to steal it. A few minutes go by. I tried hitting the unlock button again and nothing happened. I finally decide to try and start the car and I could turn it over but It wouldn't start. Finally a girl walked up to me and showed me how to shut the alarm off. She just hit the unlock button again and like magic it shuts off. I felt like such an idiot, why didn't it shut off when I hit the button the first time? Anyway it was quite embarrassing. Damn alarms! :popcorn:

i think people with lesser ghetto cars just like griping about the basics that most of us don't even think twice about (unless it's not there). ACs are a must

All that I require in my truck is a CD player, AC and manual transmission, that's it. I have non power mirrors, door locks, window cranks and whatever else. No fancy blue tooth, gps, alarms, traction control, seat warmers, heated mirrors ect. Simplicity is nice, there's a lot less that can go wrong. :)
 
Every now and then the Onstar system comes on and interferes with my stereo and I'm not even subscribed to it.
