What do you think are the most useless options on a car?

Hey, I love a set just as much as the next girl, but a huge sac hanging off the back of a truck has never done it for me either.. I find it useless.. The only reason I would ever do that is to get other peoples reactions, then it wouln't be useless anymore...

I don't think it was ever intended to serve a purpose LOL! Just a little bit of decor. Just like people with the bobble-head dogs on the bag window, the fuzzy dice hanging off the rear view, the Jesus symbol, the Obama bumper stickers, or the stick figure decals of your entire family on the back of your Suburban.

I don't know of many useless options....But the e60 M5 has active bolsters. If you make a sharp turn at a decent rate of speed, the side of the seat swings out and catches you so you don't lean over uncontrollably. They are also air-conditioned.

ever drive over 60 mph? if so and ur windows are down, ur losing MPG....

power adjustable pedals. and to a lesser degree power seats im 6'6" every vehicle i get into the seat goes all the way back or i take it out.

A/C

now before you say "its hot where i live"

1)shut up
2)rapes your gas mileage and your cars power
3)always ends up breaking and cost sometimes alot of money
4)your car has atleast two windows that roll down...
5)the whole A/C system weights alot (this effects smaller cars more)

i HATE A/C in cars it crowds the engine bay and i rip it out of every car i own...

My heater kills my millage more then my ac

Gonna go out on a limb here, I think anything that's not vital to the car running is useless. Imagine how cheap cars would be if they didn't put stupid things into cars. If I was going to buy a new car, that stripped down jetta is tempting

2002 Ford Focus... Great for gas..

HORRIBLE for heating/Ac placement.

The middle ventilation SUCKS.

Not to mention, if you drive the stock option, you get the am/fm with CASSETTE!

And roll down windows- slide locks.

No cruise control.

I had a stock 02 Focus and I loved it, brand spank'n new!!! I drove it for 8yrs and it was still kick'n... it was on about 180K miles.. nice huh! Sad, sad day when I traded it in...
