What Does African Lungfish Eats in the wild?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
This post is more scientific in nature than yours were. The diet composition in the wild is something a fishkeeper may want to know. (Btw, I vote frog bones- look at the joints.)

I vote frog bones too.. and a snail or two whether that came inside the prey or not who knows..

I would think frog is more plausible as a meal than a bird as well as bird will be a ground dwelling animal and not often in water?????

it's more than likley a frog or some type of rodent..unless a baby bird fell from a tree, landed in the water..died..and sank to the bottom..or a bird died..and fell into whatever river or lake system the lung was in..there are many possabilities.
