I wouldn't go that far, Neal. Solid-axle Samurais with shackle swaps are quite capable trail vehicles that have the advantage of being able to fit between obstacles that similar vehicles like Jeeps or FJ40 Land Cruisers cannot. Now, I will say that the IFS Sidekicks to which WckedMidas refers are not necessarily known for their offroad prowess, largely due to the inherent travel limitations of a narrow IFS setup.

I like this kid, he is so logical, the world need more people like you. you can dish out the facts and you can dish em well.

Neal, I'm going to respectfully disagree with you. Gearing is everything. Several companies, including CALMINI, make a 5:1 transfer-case ratio for the Samurai, which results in a crawl ratio of over 80:1. You can get over anything with that gearing. Also, the power-to-weight ratio on Samurais is not bad, around 66 bhp for 2000 lbs or roughly 30 lbs/hp.

Most non-V-8 Jeeps before the port-injected 4.0l I6 came along in the late 1980s were saddled with worse power to weight ratios. LOL. I remember when the 258 cubic inch I6 in the CJs only made around 112 hp and the 360 cubic inch V-8 in the Grand Wagoneers only made 144 hp.

ok hahaha i just laugh who ever is try to argue with this kid, shut up you got schooled... twice, ist the nicest way possible which makes it even more funny to me. <I 'm going to respectfully disagree with you> basicly what hes saying is, your really ****ing wrong buti, i have the evidence on my side so this that and hte other. ............... you got hosed dude you got hosed!

icth you rock my socks off

Rayman...yeah the Mito is one of the most fun bikes to ride I think. I didn't sell it though, my mum gave it to the shop after I crashed it and was too banged up to know anything.

Why do you call the Skyline a street race car? I didn't do any street races in it, just the clubman meets at the track, some private track days and mountain climbs every weekend.

b/c its thaty type of car

thats every street racers dream car

.
dont get me wrong its nice, but not for me

Thanks! Actually, I've been "conversing" with Neal for about three years on other boards and we do have mutual respect for each other. Unfortunately, he keeps getting banned. :(

I know itchy, im just busting cockbass you know what. I actually have read several threads in other boards ( including peacock bass ) regarding vehicles..
