If your going species only a single spectabilus would be nice fish to have.

RBP's have no business in a 4' long tank anyways.

I second the gulper catfish idea, very enjoyable cats.

If you don't want to use an automatic feeder, RBP are a good option, just going to warn you, they are not a fish that will swim around all the time, and they are not a huge predator, most of the time they are spooked by the food. I still recommend you those fish, they have pretty colours, and its fun to see them eat. You could even try to put a pleco with them

RBP would be fine without food every 4 days as adults/sub adults. And they literally eat everything. Pellets, anything frozen, etc. You could use an auto-feeder with high protein pellets when they're young. Get a large group to start with because when they establish themselves in the tank, it's difficult to add others.
