This guy again. You must work for Wardley promoting this trash feed. Ya I said it. More likely your ability to see color increased than that stuff made your fishes colors increase. Or they coincidentally hit a stage in maturity development which color develops while on that food and you mistakenly attributed this to the food when it's a stage of development.

Dont work for Wardleys, Im a M.D. and actually understand what Im talking about instead of quoting internet articles and providing misinformation

WTF does being an MD have to do with understanding the nutritional aspects of finfish? LOL

And it's misinformation, Mr. MD.

already fixed that thanks, again you obviously never stepped foot on a college campus or you wound know that I took every biology, chemistry, biochem, etc.. class prior to med school.

Actually the same substances that salmon farms use (Carophyll Pink/Red) to give color to a fishes flesh to make it look more appealing to consumers, will most definitely enhance the "outside" of the fish as well. That is exactly why Asian Discus breeders use it in their feed mix for red fish. It can turn a fish that is naturally yellow, to an unnatural orange, or a fish that is naturally pink, to blood red.

The same company that produces Carophyll Pink also makes a yellow enhancer for egg yolks.

You can read more about this in the folowing past discussion.

Most of the OP's pics are now gone, but the fish shown were genetic crap, washed out pink - that after being jacked up on Carophyll Pink became blood red. Tony hasn't posted here in 3 yrs, and the link to his website is now DOA, so I guess his sales didn't take off the way he was expecting?

Are there any pellets being made right now that have Carophyl Pink in them? I'd love to give that to my Red severum.
