already fixed that thanks, again you obviously never stepped foot on a college campus or you wound know that I took every biology, chemistry, biochem, etc.. class prior to med school.
I have stepped foot on a collage campus, and means jack, we keep fish for years, we look and pay attention to what is good or bad, we basically do years of study on these fish. I would not expect a MD to be making such a foolish statement. and yes i have been through collage, walked in the front door and out the back.

I'm sorry, I didn't realize that pre med involved in depth lectures on fish nutrition. :)

Relax amigo, you aren't going to win this argument flexing your education muscles. I'm not easily impressed. I know plenty of great doctors, and most of them don't know squat about fish, other than how to barbecue them.

Over the years I've swapped spit with the best of them when it comes to fish nutrition, including those that hold degrees in aquaculture, marine biology, zoology, and even those that hold PhDs and who specialize in the field of fish health & nutrition. Pieces of paper have never impressed me, I tend to judge people by their application of what they were taught, not by repeating chapter & verse out of a text book.

If you feel that you are doing right by your fish then by all means keep feeding Wardley Pond Food, but don't expect many here to follow your lead.

I admit that I'm not an MD. But I am a CPT and a CSCS and a DC all of which is irrelevant in this context. I "wound" know that food with dehulled soybean meal, ground corn and wheat middlings as the 3 main ingredients is garbage food for a fishes health let alone enhancing their color.

Might not mean jack for some degrees, but to get an M.D. means 8-12 years of extremely demanding material including years of nutrition. You can't learn nutrition by watching your fish eat.

"wound" classic. :ROFL:

Vitamin added food would be good

a good thing, I soak twice a week jumbo freeze dried kril in boyds vita-chem for feeding next day.

Siddons11, I respect you. Have you read the ingredients in this food? Would you feed it to your fish?

just because it keeps them alive not make it good,

Really? What planet requires an MD to be well versed in the nutrient requirements of a fish? The vast majority of DVM's (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) aren't even well versed on the subject, most know almost nothing beyond the basic nutritional fundamentals. My brother has a BSc, majored in Biology, worked with F&W, studied fish in their natural environment, took part in field & lab studies and even he knows very little when it comes to a tropical fishes diet in captivity. It's not his specialty. It's a bit more involved than just knowing what an amino acid is.

And if that didn't make things clear enough, even RaiderRanch stated in his last thread on this subject;
I have a decent understanding of this from my experience, M.D., Plant Biotechnology major, Chemistry minor, Biology minor, etc. but I've never seen data specific to fish.

.... but I've never seen data specific to fish.

No freaking kidding, and when presented with some data specific to fish, and provided a link to that material so that he could read it with his own two eyes, he came back with;
Sorry but you clearly arent even in this debate due to your lack of understanding.

Honestly I don't even know why I bother to waste my time.
