We have had military come in for special presentations, one of our teachers is a marine as well. We try to get the exposed to as many options as possible, but the things that they do to others and themselves is stupid. That's the only way to say it. The tats they put on visible places on their bodies, the records they build up, the friends they hang out with. Had a student call me a pussy, amoung many other things that actually were pretty creative, because I didn't fight him today. Had another attack another student with a box for pretty much no reason. They see their friends shot in the street and blame everybody else. We can rarely play basketball without a fight starting. But you know what? it is all still worth it and I wouldn't trade what I do for anything.
