i can get you one right now if you want it just give me the good money £2k bring your polybox and off you go :D

Seriously, what sort of cost do you think for a Leo of that quality? I know you said £500 and up earlier but I assume not quality anywhere near that? Also are we talking wild caught or captive?

That is quite a lot more than the £500 you mentioned above in this thread - is this down to quality, wild caught v captive and dare I say it...reputable source?:D

Has anyone done any dna testing on these to tell if leo's and bd's are a separate species or how closely they are related. For 3k each I would want to know for sure weather they were leo, bd or leo x bd.

black diamond is just a name for a ray that is caught in the sao felix area.the rays in this part of the river are heavy spotted ,not all have belly spots or traits that most others have.currently we beleive them to be leopoldi but i have my own thoughts and theory on bds i wont get into on here.

I know the pups and breeder very well he purchased most of his BD breeding stock from me.

How goes things, Mike? :)

Actually, slightly less than half of them are from you, but in anycase it's still a substential proportion of my stock.

If I can refer you to this site. See these BD pups, just born. These, I will buy knowing they are sure BDs.

So sorry to have put you in a spot with blurry pictures. They were taken just minutes after they were born, and we were too busy with the acclimitisation of the pups than with the photo taking itself.

Perhaps this will end all speculation- here are pictures of the same pups in the above link.

How much do you pay? Are they the same quality and are they Wild Caught or Captive?

This is of interest and not an argument (just in case it comes across in the wrong way)
