Not sure if responding to me but didn't make any stereotypes lol. Just a simple I thought obvious remark.
No not to you.Not sure if responding to me but didn't make any stereotypes lol. Just a simple I thought obvious remark.
I see people refer to their main tank as a grow out tank because they plan on upgrading in the future. I always thought this but never said anything. That crap is not a grow out tank. It is your main and largest tank. You are not growing fish out, you have fish that live in a small tank.
I consider a grow out tank, a tank to grow out fish for a tank that is already in the persons possession. I have a 265 gallon native tank with catfish that will eat pretty large fish. So I have a 20 gallon tank with some sunfish fry to grow them out so they can be added to my 265 and not be eaten.
My 20 gallon is a grow out tank for my 265. Now if I shut my 265 down and sell it I wouldn't consider my 20 a grow out. This is because I am not growing the fish out so I can add them to a larger tank. I would say I plan on upgrading soon, but calling it a grow out is misleading.
Confused me a bit w/ that one....maybe I need coffeeFrank lists exceptions but they only confirm that there is a rule..

A bit is something you can overcome, Frank. I believe in you. Contact me when you are thoroughly and irreversibly confounded, dumbfounded, or otherwise founded(Yanking your chain for my selfish fun).
