even funnier is that we were on our way to burgerking. i know what you mean with the geese though. IMO they need to take off the hunting ban on them. not sure if they still have it on them seeing i dont hunt but i know they used too.

There easy to catch when you find a lake or stream with them just tose out a hook and night crawler and let it sit on the bottom you'll most likely catch other fish in the processcichlid fiend;2872567; said:

yup its a dumb sucker, good channel catfish bait. Here in MI we catch them all year the best time is spring when there spawning. The best bait is red worms they give of a smell that the suckers love. As far as taste goes there not very good. Unless its a redhorse sucker those are the only suckers ill take home.
Actually if the suckers were smoked they are great. White sucker are most common species mainly because we dumped them as bait released in the places where they do not native to.
