Nice I picked up 5 assorted African cichlids one is a lab. They all just ate after being in the tank 6 hours or so. They are awesome very colorful almost salt water like.Cichlidsanders;2814456; said:I get mine from Petco but I get the sinking type.
My littlest lab (1.5") eats them just fine. He holds it in his lips till its soft enough to break up and eat.
I also feed them algae disks (Broken up) and the occasional frozen blood worms

Thats why I love Cichlids they are about the closest you can get to saltwater but without the cost.tcarswell;2814618; said:Nice I picked up 5 assorted African cichlids one is a lab. They all just ate after being in the tank 6 hours or so. They are awesome very colorful almost salt water like.
