My vote is for the Midas/Red Devil.... It's definitely not your common "gold fish." Nothing better than big, mean and bright.

Chocolate cichlid would be number one for me. Uarus and full-grown festivums look pretty awesome too. Some pike cichlids are south American right? Many of those are really beautiful too
