2 weeks ago I told the owner of a LFS that he's mislabeled his fish, I came back today and he didn't even change the name so I just bought it for 3 bucks, check online and the price is $24.99 + $55 bucks for overnight shipping LOL

Nice sometimes they refuse to acknowledge that they're wrong but good side you got a damn steal. For $3 I would've gotten it. Too bad the owner didn't mislabel the fronts also.

I also forgot my latest best price was a yr ago when a college student was going back to school so he didn't have time to take care of his fish. I paid $10 for 6 geos in the 6-8" range and got a 3" albino Bn and a harlequin tetra free.

Well, speaking about free fish...I got my Japanese Dragon Moray Eel for free unexpected from a stranger. I was in LFS asking the staff about JP Dragon eel and how much, how long they could get it in, an old man stood nearby and overheard my conversation and he came up to me and asked me "Do you really want a JP Dragon eel? How big your tank?", I thought he just want to see my tank setup at first so I pulled out my phone and show him my current saltwater tank. He's replied wow nice setup and he told me he got a dragon eel and he's moving out of state soon, he will give it to me free if I want LOL. In my head I thought "This is unreal, it's a trap or a bait trap..." so I replied "sure I'll take it for free if you catch it and bring it back here, I can ask the LFS give you some big bag to hold it. He came back about 1 hour later with the dragon eel and gave me totally free, I even offer to buy him a nice lunch meal at nearby Restaurant but he refused :) (the eel worth $1400 if I want the LFS order 1 for me).

Whoah that's awesome! Is that the one in your avatar?

A little pet store in Rhode Island had Aba Aba's at 3 inches or so for 5 something bucks years ago.

I snapped one up immediately. Not the rarest or most valuable fish, but they're sensitive when they're small and these guys looked really solid. Plus, you rarely ever see them at anything below 10 inches long, and they're one of my favorite fish.
