What is the grossest thing you've done in the aquarium hobby!

Pulled all the meat of some fish heads for my channa :-/ then my hand slipping, the knife raking across my skin (covered in blood and guts) and when moving my hand away from the knife, my finger slipping and ending up in the fishes eye :-/ blech.... (That was this morning)

brings back memories of trying to kill a flowerhorn, Has no eyes and the ribs were exposed (my viejias ganged up on him) we were trying to figure out the fastest way to kill him and someone suggested a clean cut to the head is the best, I didn't like the idea but every time I looked at the fish I felt bad for the pain he would be in, Anyways I asked my mate to do it but he refused so I had to and the knife was not working... I felt very awful, I wish I went with the freezer :(

Had another thing like that while I was fishing in Jamaica I caught a Great Barracuda and it was thrashing around so I cut it in the head and my mouth was open and all the blood squirted in my mouth 😖

I've eaten silver sides on a dare from my wife. Feels weird mobbing around in your stomach. Tried a few fish foods. IMO they are all pretty bad except of course fresh shrimp and fish filet.

I bought a 45 gallon with two almost foot long Oscars that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. That thing stunk like crazy on the two hour long ride home.

And of course who hasn't got water or poop or something in their mouth.
