i am not sure why, but when i had my 29gal set up as a grow out, i bout a green texas with my jd whom i still have today.. i do not know why but i got 3 green txas's(all at different times) that would eat, and were always bigger then my jd at first, but they would always die:( bummmer because my jd is now almost full sized at 6-7" and i wish i had a green texas that size also

Threadfin paradise fish or w/e.

i always heard discus were hard to keep alive.

Discus aren't as bad as you think.
Get them from LFS, that use local water so you don't have to do RO

I am sad to hear sea horses are being rated as most difficult. I love watching them. Oh well, probably wasn't ever going to actually keep them anyways.

Any fish can be difficult if you don't know how to properly take care of them, not saying you don't but none the less each has their own difficulties.

+1

If you don't know nothing and worst if you don't wanna learn, you can't even keep an apple snail alive...:naughty:

After a lot of research I decided Seahorses would be more difficulty than I was willing to commit to, and an irresponsible depletion of natural stocks. I think nearly anything can be kept if you have the resources and dedication for it.

The hardest for me was years ago when silver aroes were not that common. I got a juvenile, for what at the time was a lot of money, and worked day and night for 6 days to keep it alive and lost it anyway. Haven't had the tank space or a great desire to try them since.
