Listen teleost, you were certain that there was no scientific evidence of a bass eating a mouse whereas before i could respnd with plenty of books on bass fishing that I have read and websites stating clearly that large mouth bass( being the voracious predators they are) do in fact eat mice.
Wrong
I said:
I'll bet you can't find a single scientific report showing any rodent of any kind showing up in a single wild specimen of any Microperous.
If Bass eat rodents often, this should be an easy challenge.
This was in reply to:
they actually eat rodents quite often.
AND i would like to clear up that my bass does not eat mice or rats I stricktly feed him pellets and krill nothing live. I would feel bad dipping a mouse in that water and i would never do it. But if someone does it for the bass and because they want to include a mammal in their diet Im fine with that. But childish feedings on tape with a retard in the back round dancing around is not what i support. that in fact is wrong.
I hope i cleared something up guys.
I read you loud and clear. I don't think I had directed any comment directly at you BTW.
I still say mammals are not part of the diet of bass. If a single published report of a single rodent can be produced (which might very well exist) and verified (in other words a report that has a signed author which can be verified).....I'll send two free native fish of my choice to any lower 48 states free of charge (provided it's within the recipients state laws).

By the way I have seen a bass eat a mouse in the shallows with the cat tails . I have also seen them hit ducklings, and eat very large frogs.
