NO :)

i think im gonna stay away from native species after all this hahaha

That would be a waste of a seriously great hobby opportunity, just learn from the experience, separate the facts from the butt chewing and move on, Native Fishes Rule :)

That's the WORST possible thing you could have done with them. Totally irresponsible....

I go fishing all the time with friends, on occasion we will leave things in the car, like a ruler. Are you saying it is totally irresponsible to put a fish in a bucket for a little while to measure it later and then release it? I'm pretty sure that is common practice among a lot of fisherman.

A huge difference is how many days for a fish being kept in a bucket......

Dempsey420, what kind of bait where you using? waxworms, mealworms, red worms?

Over react much?

I could think of a few worse things that he/ she could have done with them.

Not saying that the poster was RIGHT, you are just ridiculous and RUINED your valid point by your bordering on ANALITY hammering your B.S. down someones throat.

Worse things to do with 5 Greenies than remove them from a lake in Cali into a bucket of water from the same lake and return them to said lake within 24 hours:

1. Place them in aquarium(s) with non-native fish and then return them to the that pond.
2. Drive to the next town/ state and dump them in a different body of water.
3. Use a different water source that the lake water in the bucket (live well).
4. Get hypodermic needles with phosphorescent die and "design" rainbow sunfish to keep in their home aquarium!
5. Re-introduce said "rainbow sunfish" above back into the wild.
6. Drive the entire way across the country with the 5 Greenies in said bucket, knock on the White Hose door, and shove them up the fellow with Dumbo ear's arse that answers the door.

J/K # 6 would not really be worse!
