My title says it all..I believe in releasing do to the fact i think its best if they go back and swim another day for someone else..but if its a fish I think is worth keeping I will or I just hopefully if i got money will get pictures and measurements of it..and hang it up lol. But hey enough of me rambling on and on whats your guys opinion? :D:popcorn:;)
Oh yea i forgot to mention label your favorite catch in the poll..by the way its multiple clicks :) (Freshwater Fish)

I usually keep perch over 9" good eats!

Anything else I'll let go.

I assume you drive a car? How do you live with yourself after seeing all of those insects dead on your grill? I would suggest a less harmful, more humane mode of transportation, like walking.

I cant argue with logic like that, not to mention the well sourced 95% survival rate claim.

You presented no logic in your previous post or peer reviewed data of any kind my friend. I recprocated. It's easy to understand, as people we kill and harm life in our day to day (hobbies/leisure) activities. During the act of fishing as well as driving to your favorite spot, some creatures may die. If it bothers you by all means abstain.

As for the pond, I own it and stock it. You can count the fish in it. So if you feel like comming over and conducting a little research let me know. I would invite you to fish but you may hurt one and I would never live it down.

so how exactly does your fish get into your tank? do you grow them from seeds? OR are they caught some were and released into a holding pond. then they are caught again and released into a bag, then in a box to go through the ups/fedex beating. only for you to net them out of the bag to put into your tank. all this is provided you don't get them from a lfs. as for your "well sourced" reply google it find some info on your own, you obviously found your way on here to run your trap about things you don't know so i think you can handle it. look around you aren't arguing with kids, we're adults with years and years of exp in the topic.

You do not fish and you are posting your opinion on a fishing topic as if you are an expert? Get out of here.

If you know what youre doing more than 98% of the fish you release will live. Its true that fighting fish with super light line and tiring him out is bad for the fish, but people barely do this because it is frowned upon... If it takes you 2 hours to land a 20 pound tarpon then you better take the time needed to revive the fish.
