what is your favorite dog breed?

any of the larger bully breeds....american pitbull terrier, staffi, boxer, american bulldog etc.....

their the smartest, most loyal and most playful dogs there are. and when it comes to kids, i would sooner trust my 2 boys locked in a room full of american pitbull terriers then i would any other breed of dog.

Growing up I had a Sharpei/Pit... She was white and was the best dog ever. The litter was an accident but everyone who got a pup said the samething about each one... I would like to find another one of these hybrids

i tend to be a mutt person. beagle/cocker spaniel makes a good mix. beagle/cocker/chow also makes a good mix. lab/border collie(current dog) makes an unbelieveable strong and loyle dog.

but for pure breeds, rotties, cocker spaniels, king charles cavilier spaniel, and great dane!!

My wife and I have 8 kids so the decision to get a dog was based on what my oldest wanted to get. She saw this dog for sale and fell in love with it. His name is spike and it took my daughter over a year to get him to warm up to her, but now he is her snuggle puppy. His wife nala a powder puff and he were rescues of sort from a small time breeder who was done with the whole business, and she actually said she had thought of putting spike down because she said he looked ugly.

Now what kind of dog I would get if it were up to me to pick a breed hmmmmmm!

I would have to say I would most probably go to the pound and find one that chose me!
