what is your favorite dog breed?

Great Danes for me we have had two and they were brilliant dogs.

Norweigen elkhound

I have a Norweigen Elkhound/English Shepherd mix......He is my baby.

But I have to say that my favorite dog of all time was my Lab/Newfie mix, couldn't have a better dog around kids, and if/when he barked it was for a reason and could make your heart stop with the sound of it. I miss him.

I like labs, golden retrievers, german shorthairs and american bulldogs. I think a mix of lab/pit is a great dog. I have one that is very smart and my buddies is the smartest dog I have ever known.

Nothing beats a husky. Pretty much all spitz-type dogs for that matter (akitas, huskies, malamutes, elkhounds, lundehund, lapphund, shibas, valhunds, karelian bear dogs, etc...). Some of the strongest and smartest dogs out there. Unfortunately, some of them are also the most stubborn. Perfect dogs if you're willing to put in a lot of work though, and it's well worth it.
