Is the tank new? I was under the impression the goldfish were in for cycling, and you were doing a cycle. If these fish are for your tank int the long run I wouldn't put them all in. I would add about 6 and wait out the cycle. Sorry doctor Joe. : ]

No, I'm sorry I got you all confused lol. I had 20 bluegill in there ( the tank was cycled) than I added 24 goldfish for food. When I tested my water I was like WOAH! and removed everyfish

When I have 0 amonia , super high nitrite and nitrate. I had like 24 goldfish in the tank and added bio spira. I got the ammonia down to 0 and only have 1 goldfish in there now. This is a 75gallon tank, and I have done a 50% w/c.

it has 2 sponge filters that are for 75gallon tanks, and a emperror400

Btw, the adoption papers for my new pet rock were denied because they were afraid I would kill it. So instead, I got a Mexican Weather Rock. It isn't really a rock, it is just some Mexican guy that sits in my yard and yells "Ay Gringo, eet is raining" when he gets wet.

gotta agree with DeL here, very confusing.

If you have "X" amount of fish in your cycled tank, and you add more fish, your tank will then need to adjust(grow more beneficial bateria) to the added bioload. So adding to many fish all at one time can cause problems.
