I don't think that two severums will necessarily lead to one dead one. I've kept two together before and they were fine. I just wouldn't get one too much smaller than your current one. About the Aro, I'm not sure how long you could get away with one in a 125 with tankmates. They will need a lot of space and turning room. A 125 won't supply those needs for long.

how long will it take my 4 in arow to reach about a foot?

and with the 55 i think i am goin to do the severum and a convict

I'm not sure how fast Aros grow but they usually grow to be between 3-4'. That's a BIG fish that will need a BIG tank. Check the Arowana forum. I'm sure the guys over there will be a lot more resourceful. A Severum and a Con will be a cool 55 tank mix. I would get two males. Female cons don't bet big at all.
