what kind of veggies do you feed ur cichlids

so i saw some people feed there cichlids veggies and im wondering what kind you feed yours and what the benefits of feeding veggies are and if any are unsafe to feed. kinda like feeding ur dog grapes will kill it.

i feed my gts cons a FH cichlids pellets, shrimp pellets, blood worms, and diced celery. what about you guys?

I feed my Buttikoferi frozen green peas, which they love. My Jags will also occasionally eat a few. Cichlids that are omnivorous need some type veggie in their diet.

Zucchini and cucumbers are a HUGE hit in my tank with everyone. I also buy seaweed and everyone seems to like that as well.

really grapes kill dogs? my beagles like them...no more playing with grapes for them...

ill try some veggies with my cichlids..my baby tiger oscar likes lil pieces of turkey or chicken samich meats....mainly gets blood worms ..im defently open to less messy foods lol

yea i used to work as a vet tech and grapes can kill dogs... they might be ok with just on or two, but theres still a chance it could kill them, anymore than that is deff dangerous
