I agree, with more certainty.
P. loisellei are commonly sold as P. friedrichsthalii.
Just another one of those fish that are sold as something they aren't quite, close but not quite. For example: the common "severum" is really H. efasciatus, not H. severus. The common "red terror" is usually exCich. urophthalmus, not exCich. festae. The common "green terror" is usually A. sp. "Gold/Silver Saum", not A. rivulatus. The common "festivum" is usually M. insignis, not M. festivum.
In general:
Loisellei have thick gill patches and short, thick and generally squat bodies.
Freddies have thin gill patches and long, thin bodies.
Motas have thick gill patches and long thin bodies.
Barring can also be an identifying factor but is subjective to environmental conditions. A loisellei can easily be confused for one of the others if it is stressed or constantly picked on and completely bars up appearing to look more like a Freddie, instead of the usual half-barring or no barring (only midlateral blotches) of a more relaxed and/or happy Loisellei.
