I can't kick him out unfortunately. If anyone kicks him out it has to be my housemate Ty as technically it's his dads house. And Ty won't kick him out without "giving him a chance" which I'm all for, but how many chances is enough, you know? He leaves poop on the toilet seat and doesn't wipe it off, he won't help tidy the house, doesn't wipe the shower when he's done, he won't cook his own food he expects Ty to do it for him, hell he won't even get his own board money out! Ty has to go get that out for him too! Hes so lazy and selfish and inconsiderate and it drives me up the bloody wall!

Okay, I'll stop. I know I've said it before but I'll actually stop now. I have to stop. I don't want to dislike the guy because I hardly know him... But he isn't making it easy to like him.

But overall I'd rather live with a guy I don't like than be homeless again so I'll put up with it either way I guess.


Also, sorry for being a pain and wasting half a thread with my trivial bullcrap.. I do apologize.

Hello; yes I can see this as well but such a move might lead to an ultimatum. Be sure to figure your options before hand.
One thing I would stop doing is being this guys "step and fetch it" . If he needs something let him get it for himself or the guy who is allowing the big guy to stay there .
I get that cleaning a toilet seat so you yourself can use it is necessary. But other than stuff like that which you need to do, leave anything else to the other guys. Is there only one bathroom?

One more thing. If the big guy ever falls down and asks for help getting up, do not do it. You can get hurt and hurt bad as I understand you are not a big person.

Dang, that is a tough situation. I’m sorry. Maybe a place of your own will be in the not so far off future.

Unfortunately average rent down here is more than my income. Living alone in a private rental is impossible while unemployed, $560 a fortnight in the bank and $300 a week rent on average makes it impossible.
I've been waiting on public housing for about 2 years now - which is nothing, I know a lady with kids whose been in a tent for 5 years waiting for public housing.

hello; My take is being lazy, selfish and inconsiderate is part of the way a person gets so fat.


hello; Some of it is the way the guy just naturally is but also some is from being so fat. Unless you some how are being forced to do chores my plan would be to ignore his requests. Do not be an enabler in one sense. Really obese people often have an enabler or few around as they usually can not get along on their own.

Oh the toilet thing is part of being so big. My take is they get to where they just do not have room to move like more normal sized people. (Note- I would also hazard a guess that he smells like old a##. Probably cannot reach around enough to be able to wipe good. Been around that.)

Bad spot you are in. Hope for you finding a better spot to live.

Oh, I'm not an enabler. I refuse to do anything for him and I've been slowly getting through to Ty that he doesn't have to be this guys servant. The only things I do for "him" are things that I need done for my own health and sanity - like getting poop off of the toilet.

I couldn't be that gross, I'd be so embarrassed and ashamed of myself if I acted even slightly like he does. If I ever get poop on the side of the bowl I clean it off instantly. I can't just leave it there for someone else to look at, how disgusting!

Our toilet is separate from our bathroom but there is only one of each. One toilet, one bath/shower, one sink unfortunately.

If he ever fell I couldn't help him. I weigh 40kg-ish and he's over 180kgs. I'm not trained to help people like that nor do I have the arm thingys that the hospitals use. I would end up seriously injuring myself if I tried I recon so I won't even be attempting it. He can stay on the floor until someone that isn't me gets back because I'm not risking my own health and safely for someone who wouldn't do the same for me, and I think that's fair. Anyone who doesn't can go jump in a puddle.
