:( a couple weeks ago i bought a tiger Oscar. Right now hes only about 2 or 3 inches. Well me being stupid me really didn't think about how i was going to care for this fish. My biggest tank right now is only 55 gal. He needs room that i don't think i can provide. Not sure what to do with him....any ideas?

Take him back to the store.

do you think that they will take it back? Im not worried about the money but i doubt i have the reciept.

If the store won't take him back (Petsmart & Petco won't) then try listing him on CraigsList. If it were me? I'd get rid of the other fish in the 55 g and keep him in there for 6-9 months until you can get a 75 g. He'd be fine til then. And Oscars are worth keeping IMO

Ok WTF I was going to leave it alone in the other thread but you are worried about a fish that gets 16" out growing a 55 gallon, but you said you have a RTC that will grow to be at least 3' in the 55 and you are not concerned with that?:screwy:

I am selling the RTC, i found somebody that wants one in my area. The problem is the tiger Oscar is small and you can get em just about anywhere around here so its hard to find someone to take that.
