yeah, I don't think we need cichlids to be illegal in the near future, if people keep releasing them in the wild
YOU AND THE POST BEFORE YOURS NEED TO LOOK AT THE DATES. THIS THREAD IS OVER 2 YEARS OLD. LOL.An oscar could do ok for awhile in a 55g Sell him, give him away BUT DO NOT RELEASE HIM INTO THE WILD THANKS
Disciple you are right Geez LOL Where did this come from!!!
Happy New Year
2-3 inches in a 55 are you kidding me ? That is plenty of tank for an Oscar that size. I had mine in a 10 gallon for months and then to a 29 gallon. Seriously anyone saying to take the fish back to the store needs their head examined. 2-3 inches is no cause for alarm, that's very small and a 55 is perfect for a full grown Oscar.
If you don't have the money to look after fish, don't keep them. A group of neons and live bearers would probably suit someone on a limited bugdet. Rehome the oscar for free. Whatever you decide good luck
You guys are still failing to realize that this thread is from 2009! The Oscar is probably long gone by now. BTW Happy New Year!i think he would be happier in a sevendy gallon tank
