Go with the 75s. Unless you're going to need 125g tanks for larger fish, 6 75s beats the pair of 125s. (Assuming no additional filtration cost since you have the AC 110s on hand.)

Well I have 3 AC110s left. I pretty much like everything about the 75s, but its amazing how much difference that 1' makes on the 100 gallon. The 125s are even nicer, but they may be a bit much for me atm. I have a 180 that I don't like at all. 180 is just too big IMO to have in your house. Mine is in the garage atm, but I'm probably going to sell it.

go w/ the 75s then!

One thing that I have noticed about my big tanks is that there is always a fish that gets to aggressive, so I have to move it out. A bunch of mid size tanks helps to solve this problem, but it gets to be a pain in the but working on maintenance for 15 tanks. Maybe I should just load the problem fish up in the truck and trade them in at the LFS.

you could have one huge filtration for them all...like maybe your 180 that you dont like lol

if you can get 1X100 and 1X75 it would be better than just two 75's it would allow you to have 2 good sized tanks without breaking your wallet.

Yeah this is a very good option as well. Or I might be able to have one more 125 and then put two 40g breeders under it. I have done the egg crate thing to seperate my fish, but it looks crappy.

i'll get the 125gal's and put up dividers.

I'm currently doing the divider thing. Not crazy about the way it looks. I just talked to the store with the 5' 100 gallon tanks and he dropped the price. It will be $440 with tax and everything for two tanks. I'm kind of leaning towards this option. Its a good middle ground.

I have the money for either. I'm just a bit worried that if I lose interest down the road I may be stuck with a ton of tanks. The fish lover in me says bigger is better, but the budget minded person is saying I can get 6 75s for the same price as 2 x 125s.

To bad your not closer to me b/c there is a store that's doing 75 gal for 75 bucks right now so you could get three 75s for less then the two you are looking at.

But I would get 6 75s and do breeding pairs and try to make some money to fund the hobby.
