What size tanks should i buy?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I personally love the look and size of the 75g tank.. In the future, it will be easy to sale them too. I say 75's.

Here is my new stand and canopy. Instead of getting a couple of 75 gallon tanks I decided to get some larger tanks. This is the first 125 gallon. The tank is on backorder, so I wont have it on the stand for another week or so. Unlike my others, this one will not be drilled. There was a good sale on undrilled tanks, so I decided to put a few of my unopened ac110s to the test.

I still may get a 75 gallon. I don't think I'm going to do the double stand thing though. What I'm wanting to do is get rid of a few of the 55s and upgrade them to 100 gallon 5 foot tanks or 6 foot 125s. I'm thinking that the maintenance will be a bit better on fewer larger tanks. I'm not sure yet though what I'm going to do. It changes daily and since today was clean the tanks day I'm leaning towards less tanks. One thing that I really hate is that I sold my 180 gallon tank that was in the garage, but I'm going to get an 8 foot pond though for the garage instead.

lol. I guess. I'm still going to get atleast one more large tank. I'm also looking at 300 gallon rubber made ponds for my garage.

Awesome, ya 55g are my least favorite, I hate their shape and everything. Worst tank. hehe. Well good luck, keep me posted. Always fun shopping for tanks and setting up. :)

I hate to lose money on the 55s, because they are pretty new. I have about 300 in each stand/tank setup. That is 2 fish tanks with a metal stand. The bottom tanks are hard to see as well, so I will probably stick with less 100+ gallon tanks. I will keep a few doubles of 55s though.
