So I found a 29 gallon under a bunch of old stuff in my garage so I decided to put it up and was thinking of putting it to use. I'm aware it's very limited space but thought why not? So if anybody has any stocking suggestions it'd be greatly appreciated. I'm open to everything.

Nice! I would buy some fry or smaller fish and grow them out and put thme into your 220 gallon tank. I need to buy a 29 gallon for tons of my smaller 1" flowerhorn fry. 40 gallon breeder I don't have a stand for lol

I would but I don't have much room in the 220 as it is. Once they all get large they'll have to be by themselves imo. A jag, an RTM, gt, a convict (RTM killed the other convict already), and a Texas is pushing it full grown for a 220. Thanks for the input btw.

That would make for a nice sized angel tank as southjersey mentioned, I'd also recommend trying something different; for example aquascaping, planted tank, or paludarium, riparium :)

I was thinking a puffer, like a figure 8, or a sorority of female bettas

Go bettas. Everyone loves a nice betta tank.. And a male betta (if you didn't get the females) would absolutely love that tank. :D

My suggestion is a male betta, some calm tetras (cardinals, glowlight etc) and maybe a small group of corydoras. :)

I like that idea with the tetras and corys. I already have a nice male, so I was going to try a bunch of females. Is there anything with a popping personality that'll fit?
