What to put in a 29g?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yea me neither. I've pretty much cut my list down to planted, sal, or try out sw
I'd aim to get a female salvini if possible. Their smaller size will fit the tank better, and their colors are more defined. Would be nice kept solo as they get quite aggressive once they mature and they have a nasty set of jaws. The last time I attempted to successfully grow a salvini with a big group of larger American cichlids, I picked out the most well mannered one. Still, one day the switch just flipped and it went berserk lol.

But a sal would fit for life and I wouldn't have to worry about upgrading right? Sorry I've never owned one or personally known someone who has.

Ok thanks I gotta think things over

I've got 6 celestial pearl danios, 6 silver hatchets, 6 julii corys and an angel fish in my 29g. Lots of activity at all levels. Just need a good top to keep the hatchets from flying out. I've had to pick them off the floor like coins and toss them back in during water changes if you're not careful.
