What to put in a 29g?

Describe what you mean by 'popping personalities' :)

Something interactive like an Oscar

Well an oscar is a little to big lol. I dont know much about smaller cichlids.. But I personally think that bettas have a lot of personality, mine does anyways. :D

Yea I like mine, but he's getting old. Pushing 3 years.

Mine is also old. I've have him for about 3 years and he was full size when I got him so I don't actually know how old he is, but his red is fading and he's getting really lazy, not to mention going blind in one eye. :( Maybe go with the female sorority and some cories? Or rams and cories, rams are cool, the tiny dwarf ones. :)

Edit: although I don't know if rams can be kept in a 29g, may have to look that up. :D

Mine is blind in one eye too. How about saltwater?

That could be cool. Although I've never kept a marine tank so I can't give any suggestions on that. :)

How about a convict trio? Let them make some food for 220?

A few rams or other dwarf cichlids would do well in a 29. I also like the idea of it as a planted tank with a school of small fish such as tetras or brightly colored neons.
